J'net Ayayqwayaksheelth (One who gives away and still stands tall) is from the Nuu-chah-nulth homelands on Vancouver Island and is a descendant of whale hunters and cedar bark weavers. J’net is also an established textile artist and emerging milliner who uses art as a vital way to retain and sustain oral traditions on contemporary re-cultured clothing. J’net is also an award winning Indigenous digital-arts leaders and educator committed to raise a positive profile living Indigenous cultures.
